Reduce/Reuse/Recycle is the mantra of buddhafication. The joy of lessness is the goal. Building a community of mutuality is the path. Thoughts, words, and actions are the cobblestones.

    I Am,

Hope to go on a ten-day Silent Retreat possibly in April. Mediation starting at 4:30 am. Here in the States.

Don’t think I could do well in a monastery like yourself. Still drink a little red wine and eat fish (Catholic up-bringing)

    thanks for the insight.

    • My sense is that you have already nurtured your Buddha seed in previous lives and that is, part of the reason, why you are drawn to the path, now. By refining the ability to be clear and present it becomes possible to see that everything we need in order to make progress is right at hand. I hope you enjoy your retreat. Will it be your first? In my order lay people who take refuge are asked to be mindful and drink moderately and most of them continue to eat meat. You may already know this but he Buddha wasn’t vegetarian. mm palms joined
